In the end of August, 2020 voice of China season 2 was on. Nantong contestant Ma Xinyi played and sang an English song Imagine, was acknowledged by Li Jian, Li Yuchun and Li Ronghao, and won the audience’s applause.

Ma Xinyi is 29 years old, a music teacher of Pingchao Experimental Junior Middle School. Imagine is a classic rock written by English musician John Lennon.

After Ma Xinyi’s performance, Li Jian said that two things moved him, one is tone, the other is feeling, ‘it is as if an old person who has experienced a lot was telling old stories.’ Li Yuchun also thought Ma Xinyi’s voice is unique. Li Ronghao said that the most attractive part is her style. When he turned round and saw her playing the piano, he was touched by her facial expression and voice.

Ma Xinyi said that Li Ronghao has always been her favorite singer. Acknowledged by him, she was very glad, and was more steadfast in her music dream. Finally she chose to join Li Ronghao’s team.
