On 18 April, Renji hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of medicine Nantong division’s nameplate was unveiled. It is expected to be in operation at the end of the year.

After completion, ‘general cooperation and entrusted management’ will be implemented, and management system will be the same as that in Shanghai hospital. After five to ten years of operation and development, it will be a first class in Jiangsu and leading in middle Jiangsu grade 3A hospital, and become an important regional medical center in Yangtze River delta area.

The total floor area of the hospital is 412 thousand square meters. There will be 2600 beds ,4400 parking lots and a roof apron.
