n 30 August, after close to 1 year of alteration and renovation, new emergency medical center of Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University presented a brand new look, and its trial operation was started. After alteration, the service area of the new emergency medical center reached more than 15000 square meters, which will relieve the pressure of emergency patients greatly.

After alteration, emergency information system of the new emergency medical center was improved, and patients were classified for triage first, then registered. Emergent, severe patients can complete check, diagnose, rescue, intensive care, treatment, and surgery etc. in the same building. ‘Emergency one stop’ service is truly realized.
