In the first half of the year, Nantong offshore wind farm generated close to 7 billion kilowatts electricity

According to statistics from Nantong maritime bureau, in the first half of 2022, Nantong offshore wind power project generated 6.972 billion kilowatts electricity to the grid. Daily power generation exceeded 38 million kilowatts, reached 38.51 million kilowatts, which can satisfy the electricity need of 16.9 thousand normal families of a year.

As one the largest Asian ‘green energy warehouses’, Nantong offshore wind farm has in total 1667 white wind turbines. The estimated annual power generation of the year will exceed 15 billion kilowatts. It is measured that in the first half of the year, close to 7 billion kilowatts of clean energy, can save 2.452 million tons of standard coal, 20 million tons of water, and reduce 8.566 million tons of carbon dioxide emission and 245 thousand tons of sulphur dioxide emission, compared with thermal power.
