On 14 December, foreign experts New Year party was held by Nantong. 17 foreign experts who are in Nantong were invited, talked about friendship and development.

There are in total 1260 foreign experts working in Nantong. A batch of outstanding foreign experts played an important role in promotion of key technology breakthrough, technological and cultural exchange, high end talent cultivation, and made significant contributions to economic and social development of our city. Up to now, 36 Nantong projects have got special support for talent introduction, 34 projects won international technology cooperation program support. 27 enterprises are building foreign expert workshops. 5 enterprises have overseas research and development organizations. Several foreign talents won government friendship award and International Science and Technology Cooperation Award nominations.
