On 14 December afternoon, Jiangsu (Nantong) and Latin American and Caribbean countries two way economic and trade promotion conference was held by online video conference.

Nantong and consulates general of Latin American and Caribbean countries in Shanghai carried out special promotion of investment environment. Consuls general of countries including Argentine, Chile, Ecuador, and Mexico in Shanghai and consuls participated the conference. On the conference, representatives from enterprises including Jiangsu Shenma power Co., Ltd., Zhongtian technology group and Tianying group communicated and delivered speeches.

From January to October, Nantong’s trade volume with Latin American and Caribbean countries is over 23 billion yuan, there is an increase of close to 35%. Up to now, the number of two way investment projects has reached 432. The investment amount is about 5 billion U.S. dollars.
