Up to 2025, there will be about 15 thousand public charging piles in central city area

In 2022, in total 40461 new energy vehicles were licensed in Nantong, which accounts for about one fourth of all the new licensed cars of our city. Among them, cars which mainly includes private cars accounts for over 90 per cent of all licensed cars.

Since 2020, the number of new energy vehicles of our city has been increasing year by year. Up to end of 2022, the holding of new energy vehicles in our city has exceeded 80000. In order to satisfy the charging demand of new energy vehicles better, up to 2025, there will be about 15 thousand public charging piles in central city area. Public charging facility service network whose service radius is not larger than 1.5 km will be built, which will make charging more convenient.
