The reporter learnt from Tongfu Microelectronics that the enterprise’s new plant Tongfu Chaowei Penang plant phase 1 project in Penang of Malaysia’s main structure was completed a few days ago.

The total investment of Tongfu Chaowei Penang new plant phase 1 project is 110 million U.S. dollars. It covers an area of 56.9 thousand square meters. It will work on FCBGA high end advanced assembly and test.

Tongfu Microelectronics is a leading enterprise in integrated circuit assembly and test industry, ranked the 2nd domestically and the 4th in the world. Its headquarters are located in Nantong Chongchuan district. It has 7 production bases which are Chongchuan plant, Nantong Tongfu, Tongfu Tongke, Hefei Tongfu, Xiamen Tongfu, Tongfu Chaowei Suzhou and Tongfu Chaowei Penang.
