To relieve the difficulty of charging for citizens, Nantong Public Transport Group launched automobile charging service to the public. In the end of last year, Langshan tourist distribution center, as the first service pilot charging station, was open to public. Various types of new energy cars including online car-hailing cars, logistics cars and private cars can share the charging facilities with buses.

‘There are in total 17 charging lots in Langshan Tourist Distribution Center. The power of charging pile is 120 kilowatts. Cars which meet fast charging conditions can be fully charged in minimum half an hour. General cars can be fully charged in one hour.’ a worker told the reporter that the operating hours were from 8 am to 5 pm. Citizens not only can come to charge, but also can park for free for two hours. In daytime, some charging piles are open to public. At night buses park and charge. It makes full use of current resources, and also solved the problem of difficulty in charging of new energy vehicles as there is no charging pile nearby.
