On 25 April, cargo train loaded with 70 TEU of fertilizer set off from Nanjing freight center Hai’an freight station, to its destination in Luang Prabang, Laos. It marked the start of operation of the 1st Jiangsu China-Laos railway (Hai’an — Luang Prabang) international freight fertilizer special train.

The batch of fertilizer will leave the border at Mohan railway port in Yunnan province. The total length is 3469 km. It will reach Luang Prabang, Laos in the end.
