From 25 to 27 April, the 9th Sea Asia was held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. 7 shipbuilding supporting enterprises and marine service enterprises of Nantong including Zhongtian Technology went to Singapore and participated.

As the second largest shipbuilding and marine engineering base in China, Nantong has complete marine engineering shipbuilding industry system and rich supporting resources. There are more than 300 shipbuilding, marine engineering and supporting enterprises. In 2022, three major shipbuilding indices of Nantong were increased. The completed shipbuilding amount was 2.86 million DWT. The amount of new orders was 5.86 million DWT. At the end of the period, there were 125 transport ships of various types, in total 9.91 million DWT. There were increases of about 4.4%, 31.7%, and 33.6% respectively. The export of shipbuilding industry reached 8.456 billion yuan, there was an increase of 3.4%.

Since the start of this year, as overseas offline exhibitions have been recovering gradually, Nantong organized 2023 ‘Nantong Export Brand’ series of fairs, provided characteristic services for participating enterprises, helped enterprises grab orders and stabilize the market.
