On 15 August, 2023 ‘China in children’s chorushina’ international youth cultural exchange and experience activity opening ceremony was held in Tongzhou Experimental Primary School.

The event was started with song and dance China in children’s chorushina. Students from Run Ying Shu Yuan in Spain performed recitation of Tang poetry. Students from Tongzhou Experimental Primary School and overseas Chinese school performed program draw the Chinese dream. On the day, several schools of Nantong signed agreements with sister Chinese schools.

At the opening ceremony, a congratulatory letter from Carlos Velázquez, mayor of Toledo, Spain was received.

‘I am grateful that Nantong government gave the students a warm welcome.’ mayor Carlos said in the congratulatory letter, that cultural exchange like this would make the relationship between the two cities and the two countries more close and the interaction would be more frequent.
