On 15 August local time, the signing ceremony of Xiehang New Energy global headquarters project whose investment was 400 million U.S. dollars, which would settle in Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, was held in Istanbul, Turkey.

The investor of the project, Chen Solar in Turkey, is the largest solar energy module manufacturing plant in Europe and the Middle East area. The company invested 1 GW efficient photovoltaic module project in Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area in 2022. In the present the project has already been in operation. Based on that, Chen Solar decided to invest 400 million U.S. dollars, to build Xiehang New Energy global headquarters project in Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, to build 5 GW advanced efficient photovoltaic battery, 5 GW efficient photovoltaic module and commercial satellite solar wing manufacturing base.
