At 10 am on 30 August local time, in the Ted Mann Concert Hall of University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management 2023 global doctor of business administration graduation ceremony was held. Zan Shengda, president of Nantong Merchants Abroad, and board chairman of Jiangsu Zongyi group, received the doctoral degree of business administration. It is a higher level degree certificate he received after he got MBA from Tsinghua University in 2005.

Janie S. Mayeron, chair of the board of University of Minnesota, Doctor Rachel T.A. Croson, executive vice president and provost of University of Minnesota, Doctor Jamie Prenkert, dean of Carlson School of Management and other senior staff attended the event. The graduates who received degrees of Global Doctor of Business Administration this time included Li Ning, board chairman of Li-Ning Company Limited, Li Dongsheng, board chairman of TCL, Shen Guojun, board chairman of Intime Retail (Group) Co. Ltd., Li Zhenguo, president of LONGi Green Energy Technology Co. Ltd., and Ma Huateng, board chairman and CEO of Tencent.
