On 28 August, bottom of upstream main tower of south channel bridge Zhang-Jing-Gao Yangtze River bridge was sealed successfully. By then, bottom seal of south main tower was completed successfully. The bridge’s construction entered above water structure construction.

The height of south main tower of south channel bridge of Zhang-Jing-Gao Yangtze River bridge is 350 m. After it is completed, it will be the highest suspension bridge tower in the world. It is also the only main tower above water among the four main towers of the south and north channel bridges.

The completion of bottom seal concrete casting of cushion pad of south main tower of south channel bridge of Zhang-Jing-Gao Yangtze River bridge, marked the entrance to ‘fast lane’ of construction of main structure of Zhang-Jing-Gao Yangtze River bridge.
