A few days ago, the construction of TE Connectivity (Nantong) Automobile Nantong Advanced Manufacturing Base project was started at Chongchuan Economic Development Zone.

The headquarters of TE Connectivity are located in Switzerland. It is a global leader in connectivity and sensing field. The relevant products and technological plans of its automobile department are widely applied in automobile electric system, safety system, driving information, and comfort system etc. The investment of the Nantong base phase 1 project which was started this time is 150 million U.S. dollars. Its gross floor area is 36 thousand square meters.

Automobile and parts is one of the 16 advantageous industrial chains whose building was focused by Nantong. In the past few years, a relative complete industrial chain including whole vehicle and modified vehicle, ‘three electric’ key parts, car body, chassis, and electronic apparatus has gradually been formed in Nantong.
