On 10th October, the sixth China International Import Expo ended successfully. Guests from more than 150 countries, areas and international organizations and more than 3400 exhibitors participated. A number of exhibits from Nantong were exhibited together.

At the Honeywell booth in technical equipment exhibition area, innovation technologies and products of the enterprise in fields including aviation, intelligent building, smart factory, healthcare, energy storage and new energy vehicle were exhibited. The exhibits such as polyurethane coated wear-resistant gloves and high-performance cutting resistant protective gloves were all from Honeywell Safety Products (Nantong) Co., Ltd. The products are widely applied in domestic and foreign industrial fields including automobile, electronics, shipbuilding, petrochemical industry, food processing and machining, to provide better protection for workers.

It was the first time that Toray from Japan participated in the China International Import Expo. In the expo, Toray arranged four themes which are new energy, environment, recycling and bio-based materials, medicine and healthcare. It is worth mentioning that the products exhibited such as automotive filter cartridges were all manufactured in the Nantong plant. Takahiro Yamamoto, the director of Toray Industries(China)Co., Ltd., introduced that Toray has already put four plants and one research institute in Nantong.

At the Tyson booth in food and agricultural products exhibition area, a full-time consumption scene gourmet experience area was built, which attracted many visitors to come to experience. The popular ‘Ten Wings in a Bucket’ series is from Tyson Nantong base.
