On 20th December, Wu Xinming, Secretary of CPC Nantong Committee, met with Mitsuo Ohya, President of Toray, and his party.

Wu Xinming said that Nantong is one of the first batch of open coastal cities in China, and a lot of foreign invested enterprises including Toray have invested and developed in Nantong. Toray is a famous high-tech multinational corporate group in the world. It has been deeply rooted in Nantong for close to 30 years. He hoped that Toray could continue to give full play to its strength, increase investment further, and expand cooperation achievements. Nantong will provide thoughtful and comfortable services to foreign invested enterprises represented by Toray.

Mitsuo Ohya said that Nantong has a good traffic location, a solid industrial foundation and a good investment environment. It is an important cooperation partner of Toray. They will give full play to the leading role of the industry sector, and carry out practical cooperation with Nantong at a higher level and in more fields.
