On 1st February, several banking institutions went to Nantong Vocational University to teach, and let more than 20 international students in the school experience Chinese payment.

At the end of last September, Joseph from Namibia came to Nantong Vocational University to learn the application technologies of internet of things. At the start, he was still used to withdrawing cash from the banks, and paying by cash. ‘When I took out cash, many people were surprised. They even told me that they had not seen cash for a long time.’

Hearing that many international students praised the convenience of Chinese payment, Joseph would like to have a try. With the help from teachers of the school of International Education, he praised when he tried Alipay for the first time. ‘It’s powerful and safe enough.’
