On 7th March, the 60-person SOV wind power operation and maintenance mother ship ‘Zhi Cheng 60’ built by Zhenhua Heavy Industries for Electric Wind Power completed its trial voyage, and berthed at the port of Zhenhua Qidong Marine Engineering.

‘Zhi Cheng 60’ is an offshore SOV wind power operation and maintenance mother ship which integrates efficient, green and intelligent operation and maintenance. The ship is 72.76 m long and 17.5 m wide. The design service speed is 12 knots. The self-sustained strength is more than 30 days. It can meet the requirements of unlimited navigation zone. It is equipped with the first domestic scalable trestle with wave compensation function researched and manufactured independently by Zhenhua Heavy Industries, DP2 dynamic positioning system, DC integrated electric propulsion system and lithium battery hybrid power scheme. It has characteristics of large cargo space and heavy load capacity.
