The reporter learnt from Nantong Mobile company that the business hall of Nantong Mobile on Renmin Road has completed opening of 5G-A 3CC(triple carrier aggregation) station, and became the first business hall with 5G-Advance coverage ability in Jiangsu. By on-site test, the download speed reached 3.3 Gbps, marking that Nantong has entered ‘5.5 G’ era.

‘3CC refers to the triple carrier aggregation formed by 2.6GHz 100+60M and 4.9GHz 100M.’ Wang Tao, the vice manager of engineering maintenance department of Nantong Mobile, introduced that 3CC was an important technological support during the transformation from 5G to 6G. The technology combines three different frequency bands, to increase the bandwidth and capacity of the network, reduce network congestion and data transmission delay, and improve user experience.

Since last year, Nantong Mobile has been the first in Jiangsu to upgrade 5G-A technology. Currently, it has focused on key scenes including Nantong West Railway Station and Nantong Sports Conference and Exhibition Center, completed the opening of 3CC, and realized the experience of over 4Gbps/300Mbps upstream and downstream peak rates.
