Recently, at the third trade fair of the year of Rudong Tianyi Seaweed Trade market, Takaoka Norio, the president of Takaokaya, was full of praise for Rudong stripped seaweed. As an ‘old client’ with more than 30 years of cooperation experience, he purchases about 20% of the total production amount of Rudong every year.

As the leading county of stripped seaweed in China, the stripped seaweed along the coast of Rudong has a bright colour, is fresh, fragrant, tender and soft. Due to its unique flavours, it is recognized as a Chinese National Geographic Indication Product. It has received a lot of fame and reputation both domestically and internationally. At the trade fair on the day, a total of 48 seller member companies and 49902 standard containers of dried seaweed went to the fair for trade with 26 purchasing member companies bidding. 23 purchasing members won the bid of 48835 standard containers, achieving a transaction rate of 97.86% and a transaction amount of 119.696 million yuan.
