The roof consists of photovoltaic panel ceiling, under it 30 new energy cars can charge at the same time...recently, the first super charging station with multiple functions which are ‘photovoltaic, storage, charging, discharging and inspection’ in Nantong located at Nantong Guanyin Mountain Technology Innovation Park went into operation.
The station is equipped with 14 DC fast charging, 10 AC slow charging, 2 high-power liquid cooled super charging and 4 V2G charging and discharging piles; different charging piles are marked with words, and special charging operation guides are provided at the charging shed.
‘It is very convenient for us operation vehicles.’ Chen Qi is a driver at a logistics company. He drives new energy logistics vehicles. After delivering goods to a company at the Guanyin Mountain Technology Innovation Park, he is used to come to the fast charging pile at the charging station to charge the car. Chen Qi told the reporter that logistics vehicles usually have a range of about 200 km, and need to be charged two or three times per day. The slow charging piles of the station are 7 kilowatts AC piles, which are for workers of companies in the industrial park, and it takes usually 6 to 7 hours to be fully charged; the fast charging piles provide convenience for fast charging of online-hailing cars, taxis and logistics vehicles, the maximum charging power can reach 240 kilowatts, and it usually takes 1 hour to be fully charged. The cost is based on the basic electricity fee of the park, plus the service charge. The total cost is about 1 yuan per kilowatt hour of electricity.
