Recently, according to 2023 Jiangsu public ecological environment satisfaction survey report published by Jiangsu Bureau of Statistics, several ecological environment evaluation indices of Nantong have increased at varying degrees compared with that of year 2022.

The overall satisfaction with ecological environment has increased 1.9%. The report shows that the overall satisfaction of Nantong citizens with the ecological environment has reached 93.7%, and there is an increase of 1.9 percentage points compared with that of 2022.

Air quality satisfaction rate increased 0.8%. In terms of air quality, the satisfaction rate of Nantong citizens is as high as 92%, which increased 0.8 percentage points compared with that of 2022.

In terms of living environment in Nantong, the satisfaction rate of environmental greening is 93.3%, the satisfaction rate of centralized sewage treatment condition is 82.4%, the satisfaction rate of centralized treatment of household garbage is 87.8%, which all increased compared with that of 2022.
