n 22nd April, the China Austria ‘Dual System’ vocational training international cooperation project of Suxitong Park, Institute for Economic Promotion of the Austrian Economic Chambers and Nantong Industry & Trade Technician College was signed.

‘Dual System’ vocational training origins from Germany. It is an important cornerstone of manufacturing industry in Germany. The so called ‘Dual System’, ‘one’ refers to vocational schools, the other ‘one’ refers to enterprises. According to the agreement, the round of ‘dual system’ training is for multi-axis CNC processing major. The duration is 5 years. The ratio of the study time in the school and in the enterprises is about 4:6. Nantong Industry & Trade Technician College will cooperate with the Institute for Economic Promotion of Austria, utilize their respective resources and advantages in technical talents cultivation, and provide prior supports to enterprises of German speaking areas in Suxitong Park.

Suxitong Park is the first industrial park in Nantong which introduced ‘dual system’ vocational training mode. In 2017, Suxitong Park, Institute for Economic Promotion of the Austrian Economic Chambers and Nantong Industry & Trade Technician College cooperated and signed Vocational Training Cooperation Framework Agreement. In the past 7 years, multi-axis CNC processing international class has been held successfully for 5 batches. In total nearly one hundred skilled workers have been cultivated, and high-standard professional talents have been delivered to high-end manufacturing enterprises. At present, Suxitong Park has attracted 10 ‘hidden champion’ enterprises in German speaking areas to settle successfully. ‘Dual System’ cultivation mode is expected to be further promoted.
