China and Austria signed Memorandum of understanding

To further confirm cooperative measures

On 6th June local time, the 28th meeting of China—Austria Joint Economic and Trade Committee was held in Austria. China and Austria signed Memorandum of Understanding on Jointly Supporting the Sustainable Development of the China-Austrian Su Tong Eco-Park successfully. The memo expanded the cooperation fields of the two parties on the basis of the 2015 version, further confirmed cooperative measures, and extended the validity period of the memo.

China-Austria Su Tong Eco-Park is a national cooperative project between China and Austria. Since it settled in Suxitong Industrial Park, the cooperation with Austria and German-speaking countries has been very effective——up to now, in total 11 enterprises from German-speaking countries have settled in Suxitong Industrial Park, the total investment exceeded 462 million US dollars, and all of them are leading enterprises in their industry segments. The development since the settlement has far exceeded the expectation of the headquarters. Among them, STIWA, as the first Austrian company which settled in the park, has made substantial progress in the ‘Dual System’ training, from the initial 2 employees to nearly 200 employees currently; Unisteel under SFS Group from Switzerland has increased investment four times, the total investment has reached 400 million U.S. dollars, and it will continue to increase investment and expand production; Starlim, as the first Austrian company which purchased land to build, will go into operation officially...
