On 13th July, Nantong New E-commerce Development Conference was held at Nantong ZGC Information Valley. Nantong New E-commerce Center was founded.

The event attracted more than 30 top new e-commerce platforms and top MCN organizations in the Yangtze River Delta, as well as new e-commerce service organizations, and new technology and new economy enterprises from places all over the state. Representatives of the top enterprises of 8 major Nantong industrial clusters, and urban cultural tourism and local life business participated actively.

In 2023, the scale of online retail in Nantong ranked 4th in Jiangsu. Nearly 20000 companies engaged in e-commerce retail business. The number of online retail stores exceeded 180,000. The import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce reached 4.3 billion yuan, and there was an increase of 160%. The growth rate ranks among the top in Jiangsu. Zhongguancun is a national model for internet and new e-commerce incubation and cultivation. Since the establishment of Nantong ZGC Information Valley last year, more than 30 new e-commerce related enterprises have settled in the industrial park. It has become one of the most important hubs for the development of new e-commerce in Nantong.
