Recently, Nantong West Station, Youyiqiao Station, Wenfeng Station of Metro Line 1 introduced smart locker service, to provide luggage storage service for passengers.

The smart lockers adopt a self-service operation. Passengers only need a few steps to complete storage and retrieval operations. The lockers are classified into three sizes：small, medium and large. The largest one can store a 32-inch suitcase. The lockers are placed at the station halls. Passengers can store without exiting the station. If passengers outside the station need to use, they must pass the security check, scan the code to enter first, and then they can store luggage.

‘The provisional charges of the lockers are set as: 3 yuan/hour for small locker, maximum 15 yuan every 24 hours; 5 yuan/hour for medium locker, maximum 25 yuan every 24 hours; 6 yuan/hour for large locker, maximum 30 yuan every 24 hours.’ The worker introduced that the opening hours of lockers storage/retrieval were the same as the operation hours of the metro stations.

It is strictly prohibited to store flammable, explosive, toxic and other prohibited and restricted items, valuables(such as large amounts of cash, jewelry, computers, etc.), fresh, frozen and perishable items in the lockers. A single storage session can not exceed 7 days.
