To make it convenient for foreigners to come to Nantong, from now on, special visa convenience services for Nantong enterprises to invite foreign business professionals to visit Nantong for a short period of time will be provided.

The special visa is for foreign business professionals who frequently come to Nantong for commercial and trade activities and play positive roles in Nantong’s foreign economic and trade cooperation and their spouses and children. Relevant enterprises can sort out their needs for applying for visas to China for foreign business professionals and their spouses and children who they plan to invite to Nantong for a five-year multiple-entry visa with a stay period of 180 days, and apply to Nantong Foreign Affairs Office.

After complete and standard application materials are received, within 3 working days, Nantong Foreign Affairs Office will complete the preliminary review, and submit to Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government for approval. Within 3 to 5 working days, Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu will issue an invitation letter for multiple entries in five years with a stay period of 180 days. Foreigners can bring relevant materials including the invitation letter to Chinese embassies and consulates general abroad to apply for visas.
