In the first two months of 2025, Nantong’s total foreign trade import and export value reached 62.32 billion yuan, surpassing the 60 billion yuan mark for the first time in the same period in history. In terms of major exported goods, the export trend of traditional advantageous products is generally positive. Traditional products including ships, electrical equipment and integrated circuits have a significant export growth. In the first two months, the exports of textile and clothing, ships and offshore engineering platforms, chemical raw materials and products increased 2.7%, 82%, 7.3% respectively. In terms of major imported goods, they are concentrated in the fields of energy, grain, etc.
