Since 28 July, Yangtze River delta Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity High-speed Railway, Nanjing–Anqing Intercity Railway and Nanjing-Qidong Railway experimented ‘railway e pass’, passengers do not need to buy tickets when taking trains start from the departure stations and end at arrival stations, they can use ‘railway e pass’ app to scan QR codes to get on the train right away. It is more convenient and faster.

Within 31 days after they take the train, passengers can print reimbursement receipts themselves at ticket machines in stations. Beware, ‘railway e pass’ QR code is for the owner’s use. From entering the station (enter the gate), to taking the train, leaving the station (exit the gate) is recognized as a trip.

The updated product of China Railway & Banking Expresspay ‘railway e pass’ launched this time will be applied in Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity High-speed Railway (Shanghai – Shanghai Hongqiao – Nanjing), Nanjing–Anqing Intercity Railway(Nanjing south – Anqing) and Nanjing-Qidong Railway (Nanjing – Qidong) high speed railway (bullet train) lines, and the same train on Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity High-speed Railway and Nanjing–Anqing Intercity Railway.
