On 23 July, at Yangkou harbour Sunshine Island LNG port, natural gas from Papua New Guinea was transported from ‘Hela spirit’ LNG ship to China National Petroleum Corporation Jiangsu LNG receiving pipe by unloading arm, and then entered storage tank. （refer to the above picture）From beginning of the year to that day, in total 32 ships of 2680 thousand tons natural gas was unloaded in Yangkou harbour, and 3.65 billion cubic meters natural gas was transported out.

According to state plan, in the future, the natural gas receiving and unloading capacity of Yangkou harbour will reach 20 million tons, and the taxable sales will exceed 100 billion Yuan. In the present on Sunshine Island, two 200 thousand cubic meters storage tanks of China National Petroleum Corporation Jiangsu Rudong LNG project phase 3 addition project have completed dome casting, will be in operation in next June. The turnover capacity of the receiving station will reach 10 million tons.
