On 23 June, flight NX172 of Air Macau which carried 73 passengers arrived at Nantong airport. The arrival of Air Macau meant the official launch of Nantong-Macau flight.

At the early stage of Nantong-Macau flight, four return flights will be operated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight takes 2 and a half hours. It is the third destinations of Air Macau in Jiangsu, after Nanjing and Changzhou.
