On 23 December 2022, new hospital of Nantong First People’s Hospital was open for operation officially. At 8 am, emergency department and fever clinic of the new hospital were started. At the same time, emergency department of the old hospital was closed, while the fever clinic was reserved.

Since that day, apart from radiotherapy department (accelerator), hemodialysis department, nuclear medicine department, and hyperbaric oxygen department, the other specialist outpatient clinics of the new hospital of Nantong First People’s Hospital are open. In the outpatient of the old hospital, internal medicine, surgery, gynaecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, E.N.T., stomatology, radiotherapy department (accelerator), hemodialysis, nuclear medicine, hyperbaric oxygen departments and fever clinic are open as usual.

At the same time, apart from radiotherapy and nephrology wards, the other wards of the new hospital are open to public.
