On 20 December 2022, N966 self lifting wind power installation ship made by Qidong COSCO shipping and marine engineering for Belgium was delivered and set sail. It would go to the largest offshore wind farm in the world in North Sea, England, Dogger Bank for service.

N999 project is the first 3000 ton self lifting self propelled wind power installation ship in the world contracted by Qidong COSCO shipping and marine engineering as the EPC main contractor. The ship has super lifting ability. The lifting capacity of the main crane is over 3200 tons, which is the maximum in history of this type of ship. The maximum lifting height reached 325 m. The maximum working water depth is over 80 m. The effective loading capacity is over 16000 tons. The ship will realize ultra low emission. It is the first ship in this type which reached Europe 5 emission standard. After it is delivered, it not only can install the wind turbines and bases of the new generation of wind turbine, but also can be used in oil and natural gas industry, and demolition of offshore structure.
