In ‘Meet in Jianghai - love Nantong’ interactive interview held on 20 April, 5 talent representatives shared their feelings about work and entrepreneurship in Nantong.
In 2014, after graduated from PHD in naval architecture and marine engineering of Tianjin University, Yang Yuan from Henan province came to work in Nantong. ‘The development speed and quality of shipbuilding and marine engineering industry of Nantong are obvious to people in the industry. Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. where I work, is a benchmark enterprise in shipbuilding industry in China.’ working in Nantong, got married and had children in Nantong, Yang Yuan has a good feeling about Nantong, ‘ I like this city which is habitable and warm.’
Zhao Yong, who works in Nanton Haisai Future Digital Technology Co., Ltd., worked in Beijing and Shanghai in the past. ‘Haimen economic and technological development area provided Yangtze River scenic view talent apartment for us, which is only a few steps to the enterprise. Without exhaustion from extreme commuting, work efficiency and state of mind are a lot better.’
As Nantong residents both, Ding Sunhao who started a business in university and Sha Weidong who works in Zenith Steel Group, feel the attention and support for Nantong talents by different ways. ‘I returned to my hometown by Zenith green and fine steel project.’ Sha Weidong, who has done human resource work for close to 15 years, said that since the signing of the project, government sectors established special service team to help in promoting the project. ‘Fund support, housing subsidy, and integrated subsidy for talents in Nantong are very important policies.’
‘While doing business in the university, my teachers provided a lot of support, provided entrepreneurship site for free, took me to communicate with excellent entrepreneurs, and even lent me circulating capital, I was greatly moved.’ Ding Sunhao said that as the establishment of ‘Nantong Talent Day’, he was more confident of future development of his career.
