China-Austria Sutong Ecological Park became a popular place for enterprises in German-speaking areas

‘China-Austria Sutong Ecological Park located in Suxitong industrial park, is a thriving industrial park. It has become a signature of successful cooperation in economic field between China and Austria.’ on 18 May, Christian Fuchssteiner, commercial consul of Consulate General of Austria in Shanghai, said while participating opening ceremony of Germany and Austria automobile interior project in Suxitong industrial park.

China-Austria Ecological Park is a national cooperation project between China and Austria. In 2012, the ecological park settled in Suxitong industrial park. In the past several years, the ecological park has focused on ‘ecology+technology+manufacture’, worked in project resources in German-speaking areas, focused on frontier industrial technologies such as machinery and equipment manufacturing, energy and environment technology, automobile and biological manufacture to attract investment. Up to now, 7 ‘hidden champion’ enterprises in German-speaking areas have settled. The total investment exceeded 340 million euros.

On 20 May, good news came from the ecological park: the investment promotion team visited 10 cities in 4 states of Austria and 3 areas in Switzerland, achieved an outstanding report including 1 renewal memo, 2 confirmed investment increases, and 4 investment intentions.
