From 16 to 17 June, ‘GoJiangsu — ‘Haotong’ Nantong’ beautiful Jiangsu overseas social media foreign fans offline trip came to Haimen. More than 10 foreign friends from Canada, the U.S., Columbia, Italy and Pakistan experienced the charm of culture of Nantong on the spot.

In the event, foreign fans went to cultural halls in Dongbuzhou science park in Haimen riverside new area, to visit violin production workshop, painting exhibition and dramas operated in the technological and cultural town by new Haimen residents; visit national museum which is the only one in China and whose theme is source, inheritance and development of Jianghai culture.

Haimen is the hometown of Zhang Jian, a famous entrepreneur, politician, and educator in modern times. It has realized economic trade interaction with more than 110 countries and areas in the world. More than 700 foreign invested enterprises have settled. More than 800 foreign experts stayed for habitation and work.

‘The city has charming natural scenery, rich history and passionate citizens. If you want to experience original Chinese city, Nantong is an ideal destination.’ Ji Xiang from Canada has been working on international cultural communication. He used the term ‘a trip of surprise’ to describe the offline event.
