On 20 June, at ‘2023 China (Suzhou) Unicorn Enterprise Conference’, Great Wall Strategy Consultants published year 2023 research report on Chinese unicorn enterprises, 2 Nantong enterprises which are Thousand Oaks Life Science (Nantong) Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Hefu Catering Management Co., Ltd. were shortlisted, which realized a breakthrough in Chinese unicorn enterprises in Nantong. Apart from that, 4 enterprises which are Kekai (Nantong) Life Science Co., Ltd., PI Semiconductor (Nantong) Co., Ltd, Jiangsu GenSciences Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Wingcomm Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. were shortlisted in China potential unicorn enterprise list.

Unicorn enterprises refer to high-growth innovative enterprises which have been founded for less than 10 years, whose valuations are more than 1 billion U.S. dollars, and which obtained private equity investment but have not been listed. They are wind vanes of development of new economy. The enterprises have original innovative core technology, innovative products or services, disruptive business models, and have high growth speed and great development potential.

Thousand Oaks life science (Nantong) Co., Ltd. was founded in March 2017. It is a CDMO which focuses on macromolecular proteins field. It provides one-stop CMC work from candidate molecules to clinical and commercial production.

Jiangsu Hefu Catering Management Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012. It is a Chinese traditional characteristic restaurant chain enterprise whose specialty is cooked wheaten food.
