On 26 July afternoon, Wu Xinming, secretary of CPC Committee of Nantong, and Zhang Tong, vice secretary of CPC Nantong Committee and acting mayor, met Akihiro Nikkaku, president of Toray Industries, Inc, and his party.

As a famous high tech multinational enterprise, Toray is an old friend of Nantong citizens. It has been rooted in Nantong for close to 30 years. There have been ample cooperation achievements and the development condition is good. Wu Xinming hoped that Toray could give full play to its advantages, increase investment further in Nantong, and promote more Japanese invested projects to ‘flourish and achieve’ in Nantong.

Akihiro Nikkaku said that the excellent business environment, and great investment potential of Nantong were liked by many Japanese enterprises including Toray. Toray will start from cooperation foundation, carry out practical cooperation with Nantong in deeper level and wider range.
