China National Petroleum Corporation Jiangsu LNG receiving terminal received and unloaded 3.5 million tons of energy from Yamal

Set out from the Pole region, passed North Pole northeast channel in 16 days, crossed Bering Strait...at 4:30 pm on 26 July, Yamal LNG carrier ‘NIKOLAY URVANTSEV’ berthed at the port of China National Petroleum Corporation Jiangsu LNG receiving terminal of Rudong Yangkou Port successfully. Since the first ship of LNG of Yamal LNG project was delivered to China National Petroleum Corporation by North Pole channel on 19 July 2018, Jiangsu LNG receiving terminal has received and unloaded in total 3.5 million tons of energy from the North Pole.

Yamal LNG project is the first ultra large energy cooperation project implemented in Russia since China initiated ‘the Belt and Road’. It integrates survey, development, liquefaction, transport and sales of natural gas.

Up to now, Jiangsu LNG receiving terminal has established shipping relationship with 25 countries and areas, in total received and unloaded about 52 million tons of natural gas from various places over the world, has provided over 72 billion cubic meters of natural gas for the Yangtze River delta and nearby areas.
