The reporter learnt from Nantong Rail Transit that Metro Line No.1 launched ‘different temperatures in the same train’ zone temperature control pattern, to satisfy the differentiated demand of different passengers.

Nantong Metro Line No.1 is marked with strong cold and weak cold modes, relevant person in charge of the Rail Transit group introduced that among the carriages, Carriage 1 and 6 are set as weak cold carriages, the temperature of the carriages is set to 26 ℃; Carriages 2, 3, 4, and 5 are set as strong cold carriages, the temperature of the carriages is set to 24 ℃.

How to tell strong cold carriages from weak cold carriages? On the platform barrier doors, signs of ‘strong cold and weak cold carriages layout’ are pasted. At the end of every carriage, signs of ‘strong cold or weak cold carriages’ are pasted. Passengers can choose carriages which suit their needs for apparent temperature to enter.
