On 8th November, at the China Pavilion of the sixth China International Import Expo, a ship model attracted many people’s attention. It was the first world-class deep water three-purpose working ship in China —— the model of ‘Hai Yang Shi You 681’. It was built by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. It was delivered in Nantong in March 2021.

The ‘Hai Yang Shi You 681’ is 93.4 m long and 22 m wide. The ship uses diesel-electric hybrid power system. It is a new generation of high-end ship with integrated functions including deep sea anchorage, tow, positioning, and platform supply in China. It is also the OSV (Offshore Support Vessel) of the largest horsepower in China at present.
