A new landmark of cultural tourism of Nantong —— Nantong Yangtze River Ecological and Cultural Park project had the latest progress. Its sub-project, the National Defense Science Popularization and Education Base will start construction before the Chinese New Year. It is expected to open officially before the National Day holiday of 2024.

Nantong Yangtze River Ecological and Cultural Park is located at Suxitong Industrial Park. The total investment of phase 1 is about 2 billion yuan. The target is to build a new landmark of tourism of Nantong and even the Yangtze River delta area. The investor, Jiangsu Jialier Investment and Development Co., LTD., was founded in October 2014. The registered capital is 500 million yuan. It is an enterprise working on investment and development of tourism real estate projects.

Nantong Yangtze River Ecological and Cultural Park will be developed in 3 phases. Phase 1 project includes 3 sub-projects. Apart from the National Defense Science Popularization and Education Base which is about to start, the upgrading and alteration project of Minsk, the aircraft carrier and the Explore Bay Water Park project will be started in March 2024.
