On 11th January, the reporter learnt from Rugao Civil Affairs Bureau that the number of centenarians in Rugao has reached 590, which hit a historical high. Among those centenarians, 24 people are more than 105 years old. The oldest one is 109-year-old Mrs. Gu-Li in Xinlu Village, Baipu Town.

There are 75166 elderly people who are more than 80 years old, and 14033 of them are more than 90 years old in Rugao.

Section of Wenfeng Road will be limited to one-way traffic during specific time from 15th January

From 15th January, section of Wenfeng Road in the city (Haodong Road to the south gate of No.15 court of Wenfeng Road) will be limited to one-way traffic for motor vehicles from 17:00 to 19:00 every day. Motor vehicles will be prohibited from going from east to west.
