On 29th March, the 30th anniversary of Nantong International Economic and Technological Cooperation Association theme conference was held. Experts of the industries and entrepreneurs gathered together, to help more Nantong enterprises enhance abilities, expand market and go global.

As one of the first batch of coastal open cities, Nantong has always attached great importance to foreign investment and cooperation, and promoted enterprises with strength to integrate international and domestic markets actively. Up to now, more than 400 Nantong enterprises have invested 803 overseas projects, over more than 80 countries and areas in the world. The total amount of agreed investment by the Chinese side has exceeded 9 billion U.S. dollars. Among the 54 enterprises with foreign contracting and working cooperation qualifications, 6 enterprises were selected in ‘American Engineering News-Record (ENR) the largest 250 international contractors in the world’, which account for 60% of Jiangsu, and 6.2% of China. 11 construction companies with special qualifications have national foreign aid project qualifications, which account for more than half of Jiangsu, and ranked the top among prefecture-level cities in China.
