On 2nd April, ‘China in children’s chorushina’ 2024 overseas promotion and exchange event and selected children’s poems, folk rhymes and songs overseas promotion ceremony was held at Tongzhou Cultural and Museum Center Theatre.

In 2023, Nantong held ‘China in children’s chorushina’ overseas promotion and exchange opening ceremony successfully. More than 1000 overseas Chinese youths and teenagers from more than 50 overseas Chinese schools in more than 10 countries over five continents in the world gathered online, spreading love with songs, and forging friendship with musical notes. This year Nantong will continue to collect ‘children’s poems, folk rhymes and songs’ works and performances, adopting a communication method close to overseas Chinese teenagers, to promote the global expression of Chinese stories and Chinese voice.

The event also released the contents of 2024 ‘China in children’s chorushina’ overseas promotion and exchange event. The children’s poems, folk rhymes, and songs selected works overseas promotion ceremony was launched officially. Representatives of education departments from more than 10 countries including Hungary, Germany and France, close to 80 Chinese schools, and overseas Chinese organizations, as well as representatives of teachers and students from places including Beijing and Inner Mongolia started a new chapter of ‘China in children’s chorushina’ overseas promotion and exchange together through online platforms.
