On 23rd April, phase 2 of the 135th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) was started. On the site, in total 3 panels and 15 exhibition areas including household products, gifts and decorations, and building materials and furniture were set up. Nantong enterprises were in exhibition areas such as building and decorative materials, kitchenware and tableware, gifts and premiums, and furniture. By paying return visits to old clients and making new friends, a batch of high-quality intention orders were obtained.
On the first day of Phase 2 of the Fair, 7 old clients were invited to the booth of Nantong Sailin Textile Co., Ltd., and reached intended purchase amount of 500 thousand U.S. dollars. The relevant person in charge introduced that new clients have increased obviously compared with that of last batch. Apart from new clients from traditional European and American markets, the company also made friends with clients from new emerging markets in Southeast Asia. The intended purchase amount reached 300 thousand U.S. dollars. On the same day, Nantong Rongchang Manufacture and Trading Co., Ltd. met with more than 40 batches of overseas purchasers, negotiated and settled a batch of intention orders. To confront the Canton Fair, Rongchang developed a batch of new products for construction according to the needs of the market, which were favoured by clients from countries including Saudi Arabia, Peru, and Argentina. Among them, the Swedish client confirmed the order on the spot.
