On 7th May, Jiangsu public medical institutions above the second level started to implement general outpatient ‘one registration for three days’ practical plan benefiting people. 29 Nantong public hospitals above the second level also all implemented the plan.
‘One registration for three days’ practical plan benefiting people means that when patients go to public medical institutions above the second level (including hospitals of Chinese medicine, women’s and children’s healthcare hospitals, children’s hospitals, etc.) and register for one general outpatient visit, if they cannot complete diagnosis and treatment on the same day or cannot obtain reports, they can bring reports to the same department, same branch of the same hospital for subsequent visits within three days (including the day they first register). There is no need to register again, and they can enjoy the exemption from general outpatient consultation fee (registration fee) policy.
