On 16th May, the 1600-ton self-elevating wind power platform built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries for Haijian New Energy berthed at the port of Zhenhua Qidong Marine Engineering, and completed its trial voyage successfully.
The project started the trial voyage on 7th May. After 9 days of strict test and adjustment offshore, the trial voyage team completed more than 20 key offshore testing items including navigation speed, steering manoeuvring, power propulsion system, load and durability test of propulsion system, dynamic positioning, FMEA test, and communication and navigation. They recorded and analyzed more than 2000 groups of data. The relevant test data all meet the design requirements.
The 1600-ton self-elevating wind power platform’ s overall length is 123.95m. Its moulded breath is 48 m and moulded depth is 9.5 m. The design draft is 6.5 m. The maximum operating water depth is 70 m. It has a capacity of 118 people. It is classified by China Classification Society. The platform is equipped with a 1600-ton slewing main crane and a 450-ton auxiliary crane. It has DP2 dynamic positioning ability, equipped with auxiliary propulsion devices, for mooring and positioning on the operation site. It can meet the requirements of domestic and foreign offshore unlimited navigation zone dispatch and offshore operation construction.
